Founded and incorporated in 1994, the Property Management Association of West Michigan promotes integrity and sound business methods and services. PMAWM serves as a Legislative Representative for multifamily housing owners and management companies on local, state and national levels. The association also provides educational opportunities that include National Designations, as well as, industry-related educational seminars and workshops on the topics of Fair Housing, Leasing and Marketing Skills and many others.
In addition, PMA of West Michigan provides a network for associate members or "Business Partners" that support the industry by supplying goods and/or services.
The Property Management Association of West Michigan has established high standards of ethical conduct for all doing business with the apartment industry and strives to create, advance and maintain good relations between the apartment industry and general public.
PMA of West Michigan membership represents more than 51,000 apartment homes, over 75 management companies, and over 120 associate members. An affiliation with PMA of Michigan (PMAM) and the National Apartment Association (NAA) afford our members additional valuable benefits, resources and networking opportunities.
Our members represent all facets of the multifamily housing industry: apartment owners, management executives, developers, builders, investors, property managers, leasing consultants, maintenance personnel, grounds, janitorial and housekeeping, suppliers and related business professionals.
