In Their Own Words

I have been a member of the PMAWM for 7 years now and I have made numerous contacts in that time but also some good friends. I started my relationship with the association due to my company’s request, however the more I got involved the more I realized that the networking for business contacts were only a small piece of the puzzle. I volunteered for the membership committee because I believe that a strong association builds a strong voice for the legislation that affects all our lives in the industry.
The community outreach was an added bonus for me to be able to give to others who are in need. To be a part of an association that helps build a great reputation in the multi-family housing industry through educating our members makes us a more respected and appreciated group of people.

May I just say what a great association the PMAWM has been for our company to be a part of, for the past 15 years. It is so wonderful to have a group that is focused exclusively on the apartment industry here in West Michigan. The PMAWM is absolutely driven to make the residential rental business thrive in this part of the state. They have continually allowed us the opportunities to stay in touch with the decision makers of our business. I know that we are better for being a part of them and I trust that they are better for allowing us to stay with them.

Omega Construction Co., Inc. has been a member of the PMA since the end of 2007. As a business partner we have found the PMA to be very supportive of us. The members and staff have always gone above and beyond to provide networking opportunities among the membership.

In addition, as a member of the PMA’s Community Outreach Committee, I have been particularly gratified by the consistent support the PMA members have shown to the American Red Cross. Not only have we been able to develop great business relationships through the PMA, we have made many great and lasting friendships. The PMA is the perfect bridge between apartment management professionals and the businesses that serve and support them.
